What makes it worse is that this is apparently a regular occurrence, when the ticket is over £90 of a single it's not fair on your customers. Having said all that I cannot stress how great your staff were, working to find alternative options for those without food.

@LNER @DavidHorne I'm on 1N14 in first class. Unfortunately the catering that the crew ordered wasn't delivered which means half of coach D didn't get food. The crew were lovely but when I don't get home until 22:40 it's a bit of a kick in the teeth.

An abuse of force can happen even when the person subjected to the abuse/misuse of force has committed a crime. The misuse of force doesn't excuse the crime, nor does the crime excuse the misuse of force. 2/15

@Tees_Issues Andy, I have a lot of time for you normally but on this you are 100% wrong. The governments ‘cost cutting’ measures have actually cost the tax payer more money rather than less. We need more rail capacity and trains are as long and frequent as they can be.

@eileen_steele I know True Tone can make changes to your screen based on ambient light. You could try turning that off. It’s in the Settings > Display & Brightness. You can also turn off auto-brightness in Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size. Note these might impact battery life.

I think ticket offices at railway stations are one of those things that remind of what a society should actually be. Real jobs and real interactions , and community can sometimes be placed above shareholder dividends. It's a choice we can make. #SaveTicketOffices
