@Robert_E_Kelly I get your concern, but the book wasn't written to have someone to root for, it is truth. It was written in 1965 and I think does an amazing job of setting the stage of the middle east for the 50+ years following its writing. I believe its the best sci-fi ever written.

@AJDelgado13 Shad Khan is a mediocre owner for the Jaguars, but he is an inspirational story of being self made and just an amazing human being. He has a reputation of being nice and genuine as well, I'd say he is a dignified billionaire.

@ramit @jacoblo At the danger of sounding like some of your guests, there are incentives that radically change this as well. AT&T gave me $820 for my three year old iPhone 12 (more than the $799 I paid for it three years ago) to get the 15 max. Same price for my plan, just lose the optionality

@whynotflorida And its not like they pay their teachers well. Texarkana is not a rich area, but these salary levels for teachers are absurdly low. Same as here in St Johns County, none of my kid's teachers can afford to live here without a higher earning spouse.
