Hey twitter friends, any Organic chemistry professors or students at @UMich, I would like borrow molecular model kits for a Spanish outreach project in Ann Arbor? 👀
@MamaWeasleyy@CTDPH I will say that https://t.co/LTzua7sjA6 was helpful in identifying one site in CT giving shots to kids as young as 1 year old...which will have appointments in the new year...so, guess we'll be there unless we find something sooner!
@MamaWeasleyy Is there a new spreadsheet for where to find the bivalent booster for kids who are now eligible? My 14m old is too young for (most? all?) pharmacies and his pediatrician isn't offering it. We got his original shots from @CTDPH but I can't find it (yet) with them!
If your 6m-5y kids got the Moderna shots, they can now get the bivalent booster once two months past the first shots. I'll be checking the @CTDPH site for when the bivalent booster is available for under 5y at their mobile clinics, which were great for my youngster's first doses!
Today, we amended the emergency use authorizations (EUAs) of the updated (bivalent) Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to include use in children down to 6 months of age. https://t.co/dHHwGFJ7fW

@sbtrocchio @jaimealyse @MamaWeasleyy FWIW, I had a great experience w/ CT DHS vans in Guilford (and New Haven, where we asked about availability when nearby w/o the kiddo). They were set up like a vaccine clinic with 6 tables giving shots, no wait, no problems w/ availability, both brands, very kind workers!
