Imran Khan’s supporters are on the move. PTI has begun its long march toward Islamabad from Lakki Marwat after overnight talks with the government collapsed.
Video shows the moment the minaret of India’s 600-year-old Ujjain mosque collapsed during demolition work for a road-widening project for a Hindu pilgrimage, triggering despair among Muslims onlookers.
Officials described it as an accident caused by faulty machinery.
"It’s gone to a different level."
Imran Khan’s sisters have been arrested in what his former adviser @sayedzbukhari describes as a "brutal crackdown" on his party.
Zulfi Bukhari tells @SkyYaldaHakim about the protest that sparked the crackdown in Pakistan.

“My father is in a situation where the @UN has called it torture. The human rights organization @amnesty international has said he is being held arbitrarily under inhumane conditions. My aunties are also being held by the regime.
No one can speak their mind in the country. It is a military dictatorship and an oppressive regime. The world needs to look at what is happening in Pakistan.” @Kasim_Khan_1999’s interview with @CBCNews.

🇵🇰 @CAGEintl declares Imran Khan a “War on Terror prisoner of conscience.”
The London-based organisation says Khan has faced prolonged detention and restrictions since his removal from office, and has called for:
• Immediate medical access
• Restoration of family & legal visits
• Khan’s unconditional release
CAGE says it has written to Pakistan’s High Commission in the UK and Foreign Ministry over concerns surrounding his case.

This is a video the 10-year-old son of PTI Member of the National Assembly Zubair Khan Wazir made from the bathroom, where he was locked in as his father was being abducted by intelligence agencies. The women of the family inside the home were also violently dragged.
Pakistan has had dictators rule in the past, but none have targeted children and families this way. #AsimLaw
🇵🇰 This may be one of the MOST DISTURBING videos to emerge from PAKISTAN'S CRACKDOWN on PTI
It was reportedly recorded by the 10-year-old son of MNA Zubair Khan Wazir from inside a bathroom, where he had been locked while men RAIDED THE FAMILY HOME and TOOK HIS FATHER away.
The boy records himself as the raid unfolds outside. PTI says family members were held hostage, while WOMEN inside the house were FORCIBLY DRAGGED.
Wazir was subsequently arrested.
There are serious allegations that intelligence agencies were behind the operation.
What requires no political interpretation is the child in this video.
A 10-year-old, hiding in a bathroom, filming and hearing what was happening while his father was being taken from his home.
This is the most horrifying thought of all of this.

Organisers of the pro-Imran Khan protests have postponed their rallies to test the Pakistani government’s resolve in keeping the capital blockaded. Shipping containers have been placed in Islamabad’s streets to stop protests calling for the former PM’s release from prison.
🇵🇰 Pakistan is cracking down hard ahead of Imran Khan's march on Islamabad, and 2 families tied to his party say they were targeted.
Punjab PTI leader Raja Shahbaz Bhatti says police broke down his gate and searched his home last night.
Separately, KPK Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati says his nephew, Kamal Saleem Swati, survived a deadly attack and an attempted kidnapping, and has released CCTV footage of the incident.
The march, which is planned for Sunday, is demanding Khan's release, and the government is pulling out every stop to keep it from happening.
Punjab, Pakistan's most populous province, has banned any gathering of 5 or more people in public for the next 13 days, citing intelligence warnings of possible suicide bombings and car bombs at large crowds.
Islamabad is already on lockdown, mobile and internet service is set to be cut in neighboring Rawalpindi, and reports say roads into the capital will be blocked with shipping containers and trenches, with bus routes suspended.
For a march the government says it isn't worried about, it's going to a lot of trouble.
