sure, that's nice, but that's not how extending rights to ppl in a democracy works. it's important that people give a fuck about the welfare of trans ppl, disabled ppl, midgets, children, or else laws would not be enacted to extend the necessary rights. you can look at the history of child labor in the us for an example

@BriannaWu I don't agree with the stereotypical trans activist, but I think performing for narrow minded ppl who accept only a thin slice of humanity is a bad idea. Maybe you look what they'll politely accept, but politeness works about as well as shock for creating real change.
