AFP has now exposed what many of us already knew - the latest anti-Rohingya panic in Malaysia was fuelled by fabricated posts, fake quotes, a non-existent “Rohingya leader”, bogus Instagram content and likely AI-generated images.

So where are all the Malaysian racists who screamed that Rohingya were “demanding Selayang” or plotting to kick Malays out of Malaysia?
