Both the provncial and fed govts have failed in rehab of IDPs. No positive steps have been taken to resettle them so far. The IDPs of Tirah are returning unequipped. The govt had promised them to restore them in NAP. But now no one cares.

Unlike refugees, the IDPs are citizens of the country and entitled to the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of Pakistan just like other citizens. Compensations of demolished properties is right protected by law and Constitution.
