How many datasets do we have on Cascadia tectonics and earthquake geology? So many!
Here we (me + @marine_maureen) compile shoreline crossing datasets in an interactive, publicly available webmap:

New paper out today! We compare tsunami run-up in a coastal system for statically adjusted and dynamically adjusted sea level rise and bathymetry. We find tsunami run-up for the dynamic case is ~3x times larger than for the static case. @CoastalHazardVT

HEY! Do you study subduction zones? Are you a grad student? Are you interested in interdisciplinary collaboration? This survey is for you! https://t.co/yKH1YYvhjG
We want to create an international, diverse, and inclusive group that connects students from everywhere. PLEASE RT!
@timblor @geosmx @seismogenic Agreed, the label convinced me to buy it multiple times before I finally decided it wasn’t quite worth it. Also, not everyone grimaces when they draw cross sections!
It's out!! In this review (aka, labor of love), we looked at the state of knowledge about the generation of large megathrust earthquakes, as well as what has the strongest impact on the resulting hazards.
