You asked for two weeks’ time to examine the concerns raised regarding the FMGE June 2026 examination including the errors, question pattern, and poor-quality examination centres. We, the FMGs, gave you that time.

During the meeting with delegates, NBEMS acknowledged that video-based questions (VBQs) were included and that FMGs were not informed in advance about this sudden change in the FMGE question pattern.

We are now demanding accountability for:

• Poor examination-centre facilities
• Sudden and undisclosed changes in the question pattern
• Time-consuming VBQs
• The overall impact these issues had on candidates’ performance

The time for review is over. It is now time for action.
NBEMS must take responsibility and provide appropriate compensatory marks to the affected FMGE June 2026 candidates.

FMGs deserve transparency. FMGs deserve accountability. FMGs deserve justice. #justiceforfmgs

Hon'ble MP Aga Syed @RuhullahMehdi has written to the Executive Director, NBEMS, highlighting concerns raised by FMGE June 2026 candidates regarding the examination pattern, transparency in the evaluation process, and reported deficiencies at certain examination centres. It is hoped that these concerns receive due consideration in the interest of ensuring fairness, transparency, and the integrity of the examination process

Thousands of FMGs faced major difficulties while appearing for the FMGE due to #poor exam facilities, including non-functional fans, lack of proper air conditioning, and inadequate infrastructure.
The FMGE is an 8-hour-long examination, but the biggest concern this session was the #drastic increase in the difficulty level. Instead of remaining a screening test to assess minimum competency, the exam was made more difficult than NEET PG and INI-CET, turning it into a highly competitive examination.

As a result, nearly 88% of candidates failed, and the passing percentage dropped to around 12%, one of the lowest in recent sessions.

We #DEMAND an immediate reduction in the FMGE qualifying marks and urge the Government and the authorities to take responsibility for both the poor examination facilities and the sudden, unjustified increase in the exam’s difficulty level.
Dear NEET PG aspirants, remember that if such abrupt changes in the exam pattern can happen in FMGE, the same could happen in NEET PG as well.

1. இவரின் Kalaivani Kalvi Maiyam என்பது ஒன்றிய அரசின் கல்வித்துறையின் கீழ் இயங்கும் National Institute of Open Schooling வகையை சார்ந்தது. இதன் ஒப்புதல் அனைத்தும் ஒன்றிய அரசை சார்ந்து இருக்கும் போது எதற்காக திமுக அரசின் முடிவுக்கு காத்திருந்தார் என்று விளக்க வேண்டும்

2. இவருடைய கல்வி நிறுவனம் கடந்த திமுக ஆட்சி காலத்தில் தொடங்கப்பட்ட பின், இந்த தவெக அரசு வந்து என்ன அப்ரூவல் கொடுத்தார்கள் என்ற விளக்கமும் இல்லை.

3. இவர் சொல்வது போல் திமுக அரசு அப்ரூவல் கொடுக்காத பள்ளிக்கு கடந்த ஆண்டு 2025 செப்டம்பர் மாதம் ஒன்றிய கல்வி அமைச்சர் சென்று பார்வையிட்ட நிகழ்வும் நடந்துள்ளது என்பது முரணாக இருக்கிறது

இவர் போன்ற பாஜக ஆதரவாளர்கள் எல்லாம் திமுக அரசில் ஊழல் இருந்ததாகவும் அதை தவெக அரசு முற்றிலும் ஒழித்து விட்டது என்ற பிம்ப தோற்றத்தை உருவாக்கவே இது போன்ற கட்டுக்கதைகளை அவிழ்த்து வருகிறார்கள்

பிரதமர் மோடி, உள்துறை அமைச்சர் அமித் ஷா வரை அறிமுகமான நபரின் பள்ளிக்கு திமுக அரசில் லஞ்சம் கேட்டு இருந்தால் அவர்களால் இதை வைத்தே அன்றைய பள்ளிக் கல்வித் துறை அமைச்சர் அன்பில் மகேஷ் அவர்களை கைது செய்து உள்ளே வைத்திருப்பார்கள்

மாற்றம் என்ற பெயரில் நம்மேல் திணிக்கப்பட்ட இந்த தவெக அரசு தமிழ்நாட்டின் சர்வலோக நிவாரணி என்று மக்களை நம்ப வைக்க முயற்சி செய்கிறார்கள்

Greetings 🙏

I pen these thoughts with sincere concern for the intellectual depth, rational spirit, and social consciousness of our younger generation. In this digital age, information travels faster than wisdom itself, carried through social media platforms, fan-driven narratives, and waves of emotional persuasion. Yet, amidst this endless flow of content, misinformation, half-truths, and exaggerated perceptions often spread unchecked, quietly shaping public opinion while truth struggles to find its rightful place.

Recently, I had a conversation with a young individual who firmly believed that an IAS officer had personally overseen the immediate postmortem procedures related to the deaths of 41 individuals. As I calmly attempted to explain the administrative realities and procedural framework involved in such matters, I noticed the conversation gradually moving away from facts and toward emotionally constructed assumptions.

Soon after, the same individual confidently asserted that “80% of government employees voted for TVK,” despite there being no verified data or credible evidence to substantiate such a claim. What concerned me most was not merely the statement itself, but the quiet confidence with which unverified narratives are often accepted and repeated as truth in today’s emotionally driven digital landscape.

What we witness today is not an isolated concern, but a reflection of a deeper transformation unfolding within contemporary society. Public opinion is increasingly moulded by viral narratives, digital influence, celebrity adoration, and carefully crafted political imagery, while rational inquiry and evidence-based understanding slowly struggle for space. In earlier generations (1960-80s), cinema personalities shaped public imagination; later (1990s), sporting icons (especially cricket)occupied that emotional landscape. Today (Gen Z), social media platforms magnify admiration, emotional attachment, and hero worship to an extent never witnessed before.

Yet, these thoughts are not written to condemn the younger generation. Far from it. I genuinely believe today’s youth possess remarkable creativity, awareness, intelligence, and the strength to think beyond convention. But such potential flourishes only when guided by rational thought, emotional maturity, intellectual integrity, and the courage to question narratives before embracing them as truth.

A society remains healthy not merely through economic growth or political power, but through citizens who possess the wisdom to question, the patience to understand, and the courage to seek truth beyond noise and emotion. When blind admiration replaces critical thought, when misinformation travels faster than reason, and when emotional polarisation overshadows dialogue, the very foundation of democratic consciousness begins to erode quietly from within.

It is my sincere hope that the younger generation will nurture minds that are independent, discerning, and guided by intellectual honesty. May they learn to value truth above propaganda, reason above emotional manipulation, and thoughtful understanding above blind allegiance. For the destiny of any society is undoubtedly shaped not by the loudness of its slogans, but by the clarity, integrity, and critical thinking of its youth.
