Saw a dad and his daughter crossing a busy two-lane road on the way to school. He stood there scanning traffic as cars ripped past at 40 mph.

Meanwhile, the girl stood there holding his hand. Staring up at him. Waiting on him to make his move.

Suddenly, it was time to go. She followed along with a level of blind trust only a child is capable of.

It was in this moment I was reminded: your children are always watching and always trusting. You are the one they look to for guidance and safety.

You only get one chance to lead them right.

Don't squander the moment.
