We've got bad blood with Robert Moses and we've made a lot of progress to improve NYC's zoning, but we're not out of the woods yet. That's why we're chasing our wildest dreams in #CityOfYes to shake exclusionary zoning off and say once and for all: welcome to New York.
Attention, Western Queens families! "Borough Hall on Your Block" is coming your way next week!

Great to start Labor Day Weekend with my colleagues at the kickoff press conference for Senior Appreciation Month in Queens, co-founded by Margaret Denson. I was honored to issue a Proclamation declaring today as “Margaret J. Denson Day” in recognition of her public service.
Southeast #Queens has had enough of commercial trucks parked on our streets. It’s dangerous and dumb.
Proud to join @NYCMayor tonight to make sure those days are done.
Day 3, in response to chronic quality of life complaints of illegally parked commercial vehicles. PBQS & the Transportation Bureau towed & summoned vehicles on Springfield Blvd along Springfield Park. This area is not for overnight commercial parking.
What a historic day for Queens and our environment. Thrilled to have joined @NYCMayor, @NYCSanitation in announcing the nation's largest curbside composting program that will begin right here in The World's Borough this fall.
The brown bins are back, Queens!

The 105th Precinct is committed to keeping our streets safe as well as clear of unregistered and illegally parked private vehicles. Detective Kissane & Officer Haran assigned to NCO-Boy in #Laurelton were out taking care of this complaint!

The residents of Laurelton wrote letters, made calls & toured the Laurelton LIRR station all because they wanted an elevator for the station & for it to be accessible for all. Their hard work has paid off as @MTA will install elevators at Laurelton, Locust Manor & St. Albans.1/2
