Hi guys! 😃
@achimrothe and I are currently 🎦live🎦 talking about new @trickle_app features, managing our insights and our future plans for these live sessions.

We know how getting started with a new application might feel a little daunting🥵
To make this easier, you can watch this short, interesting video on how to get started with your new Trickle account and make capturing content in Trickle a lot more easy.
https://t.co/NOWoxH57Gl
@achimrothe@tmhall99 We also valued the conversation with @FastFedora and @brunowinck about hierarchical layouts, surfing and browsing content 📁
We were starting from search and network structure but your passionate explanations increased our appreciation of hierarchical structure, as well! 🌱
@achimrothe@tmhall99 Great insight from @RikaGoldberg that information is not knowledge and the importance of doing something with it.
That’s exactly what we have in mind while building Trickle, as a tool to stop losing your insights in order to do something with it 💪
Today, I have started using @audible_com to listen to books on the go! 🎧
I feel it could turn out to be a great partner while I go for my morning walks (a new habit I have adopted recently). 🚶♂️
But, being a fan of highlighting and taking notes while I read, I am not so sure! 🤔
If that resonates, then join me, @FehminaT and friends from the @ness_labs community tomorrow for an open and collaborative session on @trickle_app ✨

@elizabutlermd Exactly! My husband and I have our own but different "favorite" knives because each knife serves our unique cutting styles and speeds. 🔪😆
Similarly, there's a stack of PKM Tools serving different people in a variety of ways.

@bianca_oli_per @NickMilo Great conversation 🙌 I completely agree with how a change in mindset is foremost requirement for getting on the PKM journey! Have you thought about turning these conversations into a podcast?
We’re experimenting with a series on such topics by @trickle_app esp tools for thought
@AidaMAlston It’s like you’ve taken words from my mouth here! At work we’re often using the phrase "take imperfect action” to remind each other when we start overthinking along the lines of perfection.
@DanielSchimpke I am currently involved in @trickle_app and love how it helps to connect knowledge across various platforms and also organize topics in streams. I also love Notion for writing text and organize in pages and databases.
One of my goals for this year included reading atleast one book every month. 📚
For January, I am reading The Power of Less by @zen_habits (Leo Babauta) who is also the founder of Zen Habits.
Looking forward to sharing my insights here! 😄
@MartineGuernsey@johnnydecimal@obsdmd Love it! Organizing is satisfying for the soul 🧘♀️ here’s how my colleague organizes his "personal wish list"😄

It’s hard to describe but curating a nice list of products is already satisfying in itself, even without purchasing.
It seems that at least in part “collecting” references to great stuff is already satisfying enough and makes the purchase obsolete 😄
@elizabutlermd@dickiebush I just came across this articlel by @dSebastien on converting physical notes to digital notes. Always great to get another perspective! (https://t.co/pcL4QmlCnw)
@elizabutlermd I very much agree that one size can not fit all. Similar to tools in the kitchen, there are tools for a variety of purposes. Same with PKM tools. I personally love Notion’s style for example to work on text! 🌸
@dSebastien It is very interesting to read how you’re capturing notes while reading and transforming them into digital notes. I use Notion for a personal record of insights while reading. Also planning to use Twitter as a public record in the form of tweets.
Wait a minute... episode 2 will be about episode 1? 🤯
Yes! We intend to work on the Connecting Knowledge Salon in an open and collaborative way.
Open for everyone 👥 ☑️@trickle_app
