@LaurenBritting2 My district strongly discourages sending any work home with students, even though the majority of the students have access to technology. When needed, students have the opportunity to stay after school for HW club, or use our weekly study hall period to complete work #wuedt6020

@chalpin04 I think that teachers should be experts at using any program that they expect students to use proficiently. Also, teachers should be able to provide useful and immediate digital feedback to online assignments as much as possible (ex: Hapara Teacher Dashboard) #wuedt6020

@kderitiswilmu Google Classroom!! @GoogleForEdu is amazing for digital learning and collaboration between peers & teachers. The usability of google products works for all grade levels, and it allows students to seamlessly transition from working in the classroom to working at home #wuedt6020

@EdTechJen @RoeEDT As soon as I opened that link I found the PERFECT activity for my weather tracking unit! It’s part of my professional goal to include more data analysis into my lessons and this is a great way to do that while also introducing my students to a global discussion #wuedt6020

@gbrazill26 I really like the idea of having older students offer advice to younger students! I think if my middle schoolers were to video chat or Skype with current high school students (locally or globally!) they would get a lot out of it! #wuedt6020

Wk 4 - Google Hangouts are a great way for students to to digitally step outside of the classroom for virtual field trips! Skype is also a great tool that has been used in my district. @GoogleForEdu @SkypeClassroom #wuedt6020

@Annaa_Mitchell @RoeEDT Totally agree! I teach middle school and my students have grown up using social media. Teaching them that what they post can have lifelong ramifications is super important! This should definitely be incorporated into curriculum at all grade levels #wuedt6020

Wk 3 Chat - besides gamification, the emerging trend I am most likely to adopt is adaptive learning! Adaptive learning will allow for even more differentiation in a science class filled with diverse learners #wuedt6020
