There is something seriously wrong at the BBC.
This is the headline they used for a Muslim peace activist who was murdered by an Islamist group for preaching against radicalism.
Nigerian radical Islamist leads young volunteer cadets in parade chanting “Give me AK47 to go into the infidels in Jos, in Enugu on a Sunday and spray fire on them while they worship”
@therealchilotam@page4ofgoogle I have to disagree with that, one advantage Nigerians have when it comes to exporting skilled workers is our ability to speak a version of English that is more or less globally understood.
I love pidgin, but more for its cultural significance.
@yesfashio@TheUnaButters I see, so you love it when black people are getting raped, murdered and starved, as long as it’s being done by other black people.
Good to know.
@yesfashio@TheUnaButters Haiti is not a sovereign country, over 90% of their capital is controlled by gangs.
The government doesn’t have a monopoly or even a superiority of violence.
I'm the kind of guy who tries to see value in all cultures, but if you're executing people for having sex then sorry, you're just barbaric. I am a better person than you, my values and culture are superior to yours, and I hope your culture perishes.
Also goes for blasphemy laws
The mentality that's got Haitians angrier at Bukele for wanting to rescue his citizens than at the gang members who kidnapped them in the first place is the reason Haiti is the way it is and will probably stay that way.
Tinubu is not worse than Buhari. It’s like you people are finding it hard to comprehend the level of damage the Buhari administration did to this country.
If it were Tinubu who took over from Jonathan, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
I am not his biggest fan, but saying he is worse than Buhari is a blasphemous statement.
@Wilder_Maxim This is the least surprising thing in the world. Nigerians love a good conspiracy theory, add that to a huge distrust of the government (and a prevalence of low iq people in my opinion), and then these reactions aren’t surprising at all.
