Well done to Greater Manchester's Chris Kavanagh. No doubt he'll get his glamour game in the UAE soon and it's all above board and we should not question it at all.
@StattyGeezerFC@Danny8Fizz@UtdTait For Gravenberch at one point which was 98+38, but the highest possible in theory is 197... If 98 came on for 99 or vice versa. That day surely will not be far off. Also of note, this season marks the year Roma have used every number from 1 to 99 at some point in history!
@StattyGeezerFC@Danny8Fizz@UtdTait 😂 we were curious around the time that Alexander Arnold and Elliott appeared to be keeping #66 and #67...
We think the highest we've seen so far includes Micah Hamilton for Rico Lewis when they were at Man City, both in the 80's... Nyoni at Liverpool had #98 and was swapped
@StattyGeezerFC@Danny8Fizz Me and @UtdTait have been keeping tabs for a few years on the highest sum total substitution between shirt numbers... If you've got an update on this we'd love to hear it
So PSG accept that a player nearing the end of the contract impacts the price?
Interesting to see if that same understanding is applied to their €170m valuation of Bradley Barcola
🚨 BREAKING: PSG are closing in on verbal agreement for Ferran Torres. 🔴🔵💣
PSG sent official bid worth €50m package to Barcelona, talks at final stages.
French side see Ferran as opportunity at that fee having one year left on contract, otherwise expected to cost €70/80m.
I love Curtis Jones. I think he's a top footballer, and obviously him being a Scouser is enormous for the team. But this noise is not helpful, and Nyoni looks like he's leapfrogged him. If he won't sign the deal, get him sold. My money is on him going to Forest
🚨🏴 Curtis Jones, out of Liverpool squad today as he’s not even on the bench.
#LFC informs it’s precaution for the midfielder still wanted by Inter (priority target) and more clubs this summer.
@TouchlineOracle Arsenal heavy favourites for my money. As an Arsenal fan, who do you think your nearest challengers will be? Feels as open 2-8 this year as it has in ages
@camdenboii @DeckyDodge@thisisanfield They're specific per club, so in theory the loan club applies for his work permit, is rejected and then uses their ESC spot
I'm ready for Liverpool to sign Doue and Diomande as a CIV double act and them be definitely not as advertised and for us to have our hearts broken again
🔥 HEATED debate on This Morning with David Haye going head-to-head with Ben Shephard over his controversial “ugly girls” comments from I’m a Celebrity.
David doubled down hard, saying: “It’s the truth – ugly girls have better personalities than beautiful super models.”
Ben pushed back, asking if he understands why people are offended by it.
Haye wasn’t having any of it: “Everyone’s looking for something to be offended by these days.”
He then laid out his theory: “If you get 100 beautiful girls and 100 ugly girls and put them in the dark, the ugly girls will have a better personality because they’ve had to develop it.”
Ben hit him with the big question: “Who made you the arbiter of what’s beautiful and what’s ugly?”
David stood firm: “So many people tell me I’m right, but it’s not politically correct to say it.”
Ben kept pressing: “Do you realise it’s offensive to people?”
Haye fired back: “Everything is offensive to people. If you try and keep everyone happy you can’t say a word.”
Meanwhile, the one woman on the sofa, Cat Deeley, just sat there laughing and didn’t seem too offended by what David was saying.
Great debate, awkward, blunt, and zero pandering to political correctness.

On Gomez and Endo...
'Joe is back in the squad. It's really helpful. Wata is starting to go out - not with the team yet - exercises with the rehab team. He won't be available for United or Chelsea, but he could be back before the end of the season.'
On Hugo Ekitike...
'The surgery went well, but in such a long rehab process, there are so many steps that need to be made. Experts will tell you this will take multiple months, and then it depends on the steps. We don't know yet, but the first and most important step is that the surgery went well. Recovery is going to take a long time, but he will be back stronger like all the others who have been out a long time. (Giovanni) Leoni has become a beast.'
People will turn their nose up at this but I think he wouldn't be a bad pick up for Liverpool.
Don't think it happens, but given the need for home grown players and the uncertainty around Boro coming up... He profiles well for the squad.
Hayden Hackney is the EFL Championship Player of the Season, his reward for another strong campaign at the heart of the Middlesbrough midfield.
The 23-year-old is perhaps the most progressive player in any second divison anywhere in the world. He moves the ball forward in his sleep, both as a passer and ball-carrier, and his numbers are on a different planet. He is the type of playmaking midfielder that can drive teams and change their outlooks.
Last summer, @AshwinRaman_ analysed his exceptional skills but also pinpointed the aspects he needs to improve as he scales up to the Premier League.
