And the first thing that comes up on google when I search "the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS)" + "chalcogenide" is how NIMS is researching the use of chalcogenides for use in next-generation transistors, solar cells, and anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Its probably nothing and its just a coincidence that he's taking a trip to Japan during this time. I really don't want to schizo post about the company CEO taking a "vacation" to Japan. But man do I hate coincidences so its worth a dumb post just to call it out.
