We’re new to X. Not new to helping startups build better products.
After growing a community of 10K+ on LinkedIn, we’re bringing the conversation here:
AI, product judgment, UX, and the thinking behind great products.

AI slop isn’t ugly. It’s just “close enough.” That’s the real problem.
Nobody picked it. The model just averaged the internet.

@julian_kalume@framer Respect for being this honest. Knowing what doesn’t fit you is progress, not failure. Templates are a narrow use of the skills you clearly have. Hope the next thing feels like yours.
@vlad_sucre This is the hard search right now. Everyone’s portfolio looks great, and very few show how they think. We recruit designers for startups and screen on exactly that. Our DMs are open :)
@simtue Investors read the deck, then check the website. Make them feel like they're part of the same company. That’s our whole job. Example: https://t.co/rmucF11sZ1. Our DMs are open :)
A year ago: pull an engineer off their roadmap to show a working demo.
Today: describe it in Cursor or Lovable, ship it in an afternoon.
Vibe coding is real. Here’s what it does well, and where it quietly breaks before launch: https://t.co/hz4jXBPJMJ

@iJohnWoody @AlexBedeleu Jumping in since you’re after UI eyes: the biggest thing we noticed is two primary actions competing on the homepage. The hero asks readers to subscribe, while the nav button asks tool makers to “Test your tool.” 1/2
@alexispresa It doesn’t have to be either/or. Clients sign with a studio but trust a person. The setup that tends to work: a studio brand for contracts, scale, and hiring, plus the founder as the visible voice sharing the thinking. 1/2
@AdamPerlis@boardyai Alternative intro: Adam should meet the people who find these people. Foundey recruits designers for startups and screens on product thinking, not polished portfolios. Staff-level AI product designers in SF are exactly the hard search we’re built for.
@TheAntheaGuo Great role. If the applications pile up, we help startups hire designers: we source and pre-screen candidates on product thinking, not just polished portfolios. Nothing upfront. Happy to help Lumeria find the right one.
Adding a product tour isn’t onboarding.
Tours show buttons. Onboarding gets users to value.

@xcyynical App design is most of what we do. Here’s a recent one: https://t.co/swd2zFJFyM. If your friend wants a full team rather than one designer (product thinking, UI, dev-ready handoff), happy to chat.
@MaxHirsch13 You said "AGENCY" in all caps, so we assumed you meant us. Design studio here. When Maxed AI needs to look like a $500k/mo company before it is one, you know where to find us. 🙌🏻
@FilipPanoski Worth refining #1: "where they hang out" and "where they go when they have a problem" are often different places. Founders hang out on X, but when they need a lawyer, a designer, or a tool, they ask their investor or a founder friend. 1/2
