russian occupation is not peace.
Ukrainians in occupied territories have been suffering long before 2022.
russia has brought new cynical charges against Crimean Tatar political prisoner Tofik Abdulgaziev, who is suffering from a malignant brain tumour.
He was first arrested in March 2019 during a major crackdown on the Crimean Solidarity movement and has been imprisoned ever since — first in occupied Crimea, then deep inside russia.
Now, despite his critical condition, he has been charged with “contempt of court” after being forced to sign a “clean bill of health” he could not read or understand. Doctors had previously diagnosed him with a malignant brain tumour, but under pressure he was given a document falsely claiming he was “completely healthy”.
This is not justice. It is a system built on deception and cruelty, designed to keep him behind bars until death.
🇺🇦🇺🇸 Zelensky: I told our American partners that they can tell if Putin wants peace by answering these questions.
First, try to arrange a meeting at the leadership level to discuss territories. Putin refused.
Second, if he does not want to continue the aggression after the ceasefire, offer to deploy American and European troops along the contact line. Putin’s answer was, “No, no foreign troops.” Why? That can only mean that he wants to move on.
Third, he has about 17 million square kilometers of territory. Yet he tells the Americans, “Look, what’s the problem? It’s only 6,000 square kilometers.” Can you imagine someone who has millions of square kilometers, 70% of which is underdeveloped and has no proper infrastructure, asking for more? Do we really believe that all he needs is an additional 5,800 square kilometers?
That is not his goal. Donbas is a strategic place in Ukraine. Once he gets our industrial cities and fortifications in that region, all that will be left is open fields and direct roads to our regional centers. I mean, we understand why he wants Donbas.
We were screaming. Tagging everyone. Begging. And nothing happened.
Oleshky and other villages on the left bank of Kherson region are still quietly dying. Blockade since mid-February. No food is being delivered. Supplies have run out. Human bodies lie near the morgue for weeks. Burial is impossible — dozens of permits and humiliation required. People are begging for a safe humanitarian corridor, but they’re even afraid to speak openly — the occupation punishes for less.
My post was seen by more than 80 thousand people. Ordinary people were worried: Ukrainians, Europeans, Americans — they were sharing, crying, raging, tagging organizations over and over again. They wrote “this is genocide”, “don’t forget Ukraine”, “how can Europe allow this?”. @jurgen_nauditt even pointed out that the nearest NATO city is just 410 km away.
And those who could actually do something?

Silence. Complete, criminal silence. Not a single tweet, statement, press release, not even “we are concerned”, “we are monitoring”. Nothing. They write about other crises, issue beautiful words about peace and inclusion — but not about this. Not about Europeans starving on their own continent while the world watches.
We achieved zero result. No one heard us. No corridor, no aid, no pressure on the occupiers, no media noise. Just… nothing.
This tragedy only touches ordinary people — those who still have a heart. Politicians, organizations, “humanitarians” — they don’t care unless it’s profitable or fits their plan.
If you’re reading this — don’t scroll past. Repost if it hurts. Tag them again. Ask why they are ignoring people who are dying…?!
People are dying right now.
And the world chooses not to see.
Don’t stay silent.
Just unpacking it here.
Ukraine is helping us with Iranian drones, resulting from the war we launched against Iran.
And we're easing sanctions on Russia because of the oil market fallout from the war we launched against Iran.
And Russia is helping Iran with medical aid and intel, in the war we launched against Iran.
And Trump is frustrated with Ukraine because it's still at war with Russia.
‘Dnipropetrovsk oblast fully liberated as of today’
Can we focus on Ukraine a little more please?
Against all the odds & Donald Trump Ukrainians are doggedly winning this war, inch by bloody inch!
Ukraine matters more to us in Europe than Iran; let’s get our priorities right.
1/4 This must be read.
Ukrainians on Threads are sharing moments from the war that broke them — moments they will carry for the rest of their lives.
This is the reality of war. This pain must be heard.
Below are translations.
1.“To fellow soldiers: is there something that broke you during the war? (No jokes)
I’ll start.
Shooting animals on your position because they expose it — meaning it’s either them, or you, because of them.” 💔
2.“You’re lying in a shallow trench, looking into the eyes of a wounded man five meters away, out on the street.
A drone is hanging above him, waiting — for someone to crawl out to him, or for him to try to crawl to cover.
And you both understand it. That’s why he doesn’t move.
He just lies there, bleeding, looking at me.
He died.
And I never managed to help him.”
3.“When permission is given to identify a body so the family won’t have to provide DNA — because all that remains is a burned fragment.
When you’re forced to leave in a hurry, animals scatter in panic and you can’t take them with you.
In the last five minutes, under explosions, you call out to them — but they stay hidden. And remain there forever.”
4.“When a pregnant wife of a fellow soldier — who happens to have your number — texts asking how her husband is, because he hasn’t been in touch for a day.
And ten minutes before her message, you already learned that her husband was torn apart by an artillery shell.
You look at the phone screen, powerless.”
@wilendhornets This is such great news - congratulations on getting one step closer to obliterating everything orc-related, once and for all!! You've got this! 💪🇺🇦💪
Never forget what orcs from East bring with them if they are not contained behind the borders to civilization.
May all victims killed by 🇷🇺 war crimes RIP! 💔💙💛💔
Mass graves in Europe.
The murderers came from russia.
Third anniversary of the discovery of mass graves near Izyum
On September 15, 2022, after the liberation of part of the Kharkiv region, mass graves were discovered near Izyum – 449 dead, including over 400 civilians (including children) and at least 22 soldiers.
Many victims died violently; several dozen people were tortured. DNA analysis confirmed the presence of well-known figures in the graves, including the writer Volodymyr Vakulenko; some of the bodies are still awaiting identification.
Today we remember all those who fell victim to these crimes. Our responsibility is to preserve evidence, strive for truth and justice, support the families of the deceased, and do everything possible to prevent such horrors from happening again.
We remember – so as not to forget; we act – so as not to allow them to happen again.

“Occupation doesn’t stop suffering—it hides it,”
This is @Olia_Hercules. She’s from Kakhovka, which is temporarily occupied by Russia.
She says her heart boils when she hears the word "territories". Her friends and relatives are still under occupation.
