Earthquake relief: @USArmy's 1-228th Aviation Regiment supports the people of Venezuela.
The 1-228th—operating out of Honduras as a major component of @JTF_Bravo—is executing vital airlift missions in support of @StateDept-led U.S. government relief operations. This deployment continues their long legacy of regional disaster response, which includes supporting relief efforts in the aftermath of the devastating floods and landslides in Vargas, Venezuela, in 1999.

Last week, two powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela. NASA satellites are providing critical support, capturing imagery and data to help teams on the ground assess impacts and guide response efforts.
This map, created with data from the NISAR mission, shows how the quakes shifted the land surface, offering key insights for emergency managers and scientists.
