@IamHappyToast This discussion blows my mind. I live in Vienna, Austria. Everything is available in under 15 minutes *on foot*. Public Transportation is great if I wanna go elsewhere. No need for a car. Very little air pollution too. What a pity this isn’t more widespread.
I wish I was better at marketing this video because there are SO many gems in it

I learnt a lot and you will too
Buzzing to get it edited and uploaded
Merci @frenchfluency
@MeroSpanish@MLautmer agreed. The use of the subjunctive alone is way harder than pronominal verbs. Not to mention pronominal verbs can end up in subjunctive too 😅
@tugceaytes Not sure if you know: seahorse is a term used by trans men who give birth. There’s a subreddit called seahorse dads. I thought your app design was about that at first 🙃
@AutisticCallum_ despite every study demonstrating how inefficient their communication is. Autistic people know what words mean and use them to convey meaning as precisely as they can. And somehow, we’re the problem 🤦 2/2
@AutisticCallum_ it’s not that we take everything literally, it’s that allistic string random words together thinking we will just catch what they intend to mean - when they aren’t downright lying - and then pretend that’s the way to communicate successfully 1/2
@AutisticCoach_ I only have one question: How fucking awful have those parents been to their child, for that child to start “thriving”when they end up in a freaking institution??? This boggles the mind.
Sure, my own life is way better without
my parents in it, but still…
@skolvikings@elliemidds yes. That just doesn’t take into account the many undiagnosed like myself. For many autistic people getting diagnosed isn’t beneficial and that messes all the stats up.
@brainflorist this. I want to die but I don’t want long covid. it’s not that hard to understand. Life with long covid is obviously worse than without. Why would I want to make a difficult life even worse?
@AutisticCoach_ I eat a can of peaches a day these days and that really helps. It’s more like a stim though. In the past I found that avoiding gluten helped a lot - now it doesn’t seem to make much of a difference anymore.
@Linguisticae J’avoue, j’ai dû apprendre le mot y a deux semaines. J’aime bien le vocabulaire mais franchement on pourrait aussi appeler une robe une robe. 🤦
@KatyMontgomerie How do you define self-ID? There’s no way France is green. They made me go through hell to change my gender in 2018 and the current government is transphobic AF. I’m lucky I could do it at all.
