Missed @OpenAI's GPT-5 keynote? Here's what it means for performance marketers.
This isn't just a bigger model - GPT-5 brings real upgrades that actually move the needle for UA, growth, and marketing ops teams.

- ⚡ GPT-5 is faster. A LOT faster. We've already tested it out, it answered our analytics questions in less than half the time!
- 🧠 GPT-5 is smarter. It dramatically expanded its context window, which helps it figure out tougher analysis problems when you give it more information. It also reduces hallucinations by 40-80%(!), and is more honest when it doesn't know the answer.
- 🧩 GPT-5 is better at creating visualizations. OpenAI showed an amazing demo for how created an interactive "Finance Dashboard" in minutes - really looking forward to see all the UA dashboards it can build!
We've already started testing GPT-5 with @TweetSingular 's MCP and... it's seriously impressive.

Why you talk to customers ...
And ask "why" five times ...
Because everyone is accidentally lying to you.
@HannahParvaz walked me through her process recently. She's an App Marketer of the Year, works with hundreds of apps and brands.
In this one case she spent 3 months talking to customers to dig down to the root of why they used an app. The app was Curio, and people told her superficially that they wanted to learn, or use their time well.
3, 4, or 5 why's down ... the bedrock truth came out:
They wanted to be "the most interesting person in the room."
Without deep, long, engaging, and highly personal conversations with customers, you may never know what known or unknown need your app or product or service solves.
The problem is that not knowing that cripples your ability to market it to new people.

@krezer@eric_seufert Yes, but Timer 1 automatically extends by another 24hr every time you update the conversion value -
So in SKAN3, if you count from the "final call to update the conversion value", it takes 24hr to lock the CV (Timer 1), and then another 0-24hrs (Timer 2).
Confusing for sure...
