Tonight, I stood across the street knowing there is hope for this family.

I stood praying that one day, they would stand on the same side of the street as me... knowing God has so much good in store when we are weak. That he will provide in ways unseen.

I watched a family see their loved one loaded into a coroner van.

I wish I hadn’t, but I’ve been in their shoes. That moment lasts forever. It lies in your mind like still pictures. No detail forgotten. It replays and replays.
