Not everyone is attached like that but surely you can sympathize with those who do. The renewal/restoration of all things can give those people hope.

@paulrenenichols It could be a parish/jurisdiction level problem you are having but you seem unconvinced or unwilling to investigate that. If you do leave are you saying is it not the true church as well? I dont see how you could think its the true church and believe it failed too.

@TobyTurner You should visit an Eastern Orthodox Church for a service and talk with the clergy about the issues you have with Christianity. Attend a Liturgy or Vespers with an open mind.

@IndianaBrunner That seems very self centered. So you go to church to celebrate your own salvation with family? Church is there for worshipping God, that MAY grant salvation. It’s not about you or others, yes it’s beneficial to go to church, but it’s about God, set your focus on Him.
