Blaming the public for crowded hospitals when we have the fewest beds and staff in the OECD and spend less than any province takes real chutzpah.
Premier Ford can imagine spending $200 billion on a tunnel to nowhere but not the $2 billion a year that would end hallway healthcare.
This Kiwanis pilot helped four former renters purchase their homes with mortgate help. Now the Hamilton non-profit is opening the affordable home ownership program to the general public #HamOnt https://t.co/lveagDCj0j
#HamOnt Too many Hamiltonians are unable to see themselves owning their own homes.
Too many young people are living with their parents because rents are unaffordable, while others are paying sky-high rents that prevent them from saving for a down-payment.
This is part of the housing crisis we face and solutions to that crisis require collaboration and partnership between the City and many organizations in our community.
That is why today’s announcement by Kiwanis Non-Profit Homes, in partnership with the @cityofhamilton@HamCommFdn , Home Ownership Alternatives and @FirstOntarioCU is such welcome news.
By reducing the barriers of affordability, this program has the potential of giving Hamiltonians back their dream of home ownership and making that dream a reality while contributing to a more healthy and affordable housing market overall.
Such an amazing night celebrating @StaplesCanada@StaplesStores and supporting 6 youth serving agencies with the Start to Smart Back-to-School product donated by wonderful Staples customers ❤ #KidsNeedKiwanis
I’ve been driving in Toronto for nearly 30 years.
If bike lanes create congestion, why was there terrible congestion and traffic jams in the 90s before there were bike lanes?
Answer: Because congestion isn’t caused by bikes or bike lanes.
They’re caused by too many cars.
On Sunday, I took this photo while on the 407.
Not sure why @fordnation wants to build a tunnel when we have an empty highway just sitting here.
We don't need a tunnel to fix gridlock Doug, use the 407.

Thank you to the amazing team at @mcmasteru 's Housing & Conference Services for volunteering your time at the Club last week! Your hard work organizing our storage shed has freed up valuable space for our upcoming programs, and we couldn't be more grateful for your support!
If Ford visited an encampment, he would learn that the health impacts of the chronically homeless are complex & variable. They require trauma-informed primary care, mental health, recovery beds & palliative care. Illness rates are much greater than those housed.
