பலருக்கும் இந்த கோவிலை பற்றி தெரிந்திருக்காது.

ஆனால் 2016ல் இந்த கோவிலை தரைமட்டமாக இடித்துவிட்டு, கோவில் இருந்த இடத்தில் கக்கூஸ், சரியாத்தான் படிக்கறீங்க, கட்டிவிட்டு, அந்த கோவில் இருந்த இடத்தின் அருகில் புதியதாக ஒரு கோவிலை கட்ட முனைந்த பொறம்போக்கு இந்த ரூட்ஸ் ராமசாமி.

பழைய கோவில் விக்ரஹங்களை திருடிக் கொண்டு போய் புதிய கோவிலில் வைத்ததை திரு பொன் மாணிக்கவேல் மீட்டெடுத்து மீண்டும் பழைய கோவிலில் வைத்தார்.

ஊர் முழுக்க அப்பாவி மக்களிடமிருந்து "மாங்கல்ய வரி" என்று பல கோடி ரூபாய், சுமார் 36 கோடி, வசூல் வேட்டை.

ஊர் மக்களும் தங்கள் மூதாதயர் கட்டிய கோவிலுக்கு நடந்த கொடுமையை மறந்து போயினர். இப்படித்தான் வரலாறு அழிகிறது. அழிக்கின்றனர்.

IIT Madras professor S. Lakshmi Bala walks a full quantum mechanics class through the two-level atom, and she does it for free.

Western physics departments charge over $2,000 per credit for a graduate course in quantum mechanics. This entire course has been free since the early 2000s, but someone is trying to hide it.

In this lecture she has already moved past abstract vector spaces into a real physical system, the same two-level atom model that shows up later in laser physics and quantum computing.

No login wall. No certificate fee to just watch. One professor, one blackboard, one camera that never stopped rolling for over 40 lectures.

Physics departments built million dollar tuition systems around gatekeeping exactly this material. IIT Madras just recorded it and gave it away through NPTEL, a program that now hosts over 3,200 free courses.

It's part of something called NPTEL, a government backed program that now hosts over 3,200 free university courses taught by professors at IIT and IISc, India's top engineering and science schools.

Dr. S. Lakshmi Bala's course, Quantum Mechanics I, runs through the same material a physics graduate student would sit through in a paid semester: postulates of quantum mechanics, angular momentum, quantum optics, all of it filmed lecture hall style and uploaded for anyone to watch.

No login wall, no certificate fee required to just watch, no tuition. Just a professor, a blackboard, and a camera that's been running since the early 2000s.

Western universities charge thousands per credit for exactly this kind of course. India just recorded it and gave it away.

Is this the biggest free education archive nobody talks about, or are people just not looking?

2021-ல் ஆட்சி மாறியவுடன் #DMK வின் நிலைப்பாடும் மாறியது. சாலையை வானத்திலா போடா முடியும் என்று கேட்டார் #திமுக நெடுஞ்சாலைத்துறை அமைச்சர் எ வ வேலு. பரந்தூரில் புதிய விமான நிலையம் அமைக்க நிலம் கையகப்படுத்தப்படும் என்று சத்தம் காட்டாமல் வேலையை ஆரம்பித்தது #திமுக ஆனால் மக்கள் போராடினார்கள்.

மக்களின் போராட்டம் #dmk வுக்கு எதிராக என்பதால் தமிழக ஊடகங்கள் அந்த பக்கமே போகவில்லை. விஜய் கட்சி ஆரம்பித்தவுடன் பரந்தூருக்குச் சென்று மக்கள் போராட்டத்திற்கு ஆதரவு கொடுத்தார்.

இன்று அந்த திட்டமே கைவிடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

7 வருடமாக எதையுமே செய்யாமல் வளர்ச்சியைப் பற்றி யோசிக்காமல் அரசியல் மட்டுமே செய்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

அதே 2020ம் ஆண்டு ஆந்திராவில் விசாகப்பட்டினம் அருகில் இன்னொரு ஏர்போர்ட் கட்டுவதற்கும் மத்திய அரசு திட்டமிட்டது. அதற்காக போகாபுரம் எனும் பகுதி தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டது. 2023- அடிக்கல் நாட்டப்பட்டு, இந்த மாதம் 1ம் தேதி பயன்பாட்டுக்கும் வந்து விட்டது.

சென்னைக்கு இரண்டாவது ஏர்போர்ட் அறிவிக்கப்பட்ட 2019-ம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவில் 110 ஏர்போர்ட்கள் இருந்தன. இன்று 165 ஏர்போர்ட்கள் இருக்கின்றன. இந்த இடைப்பட்ட காலத்தில் நாடு முழுவதும் 50+ ஏர்போர்ட்கள் கட்டப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. எதிர்க்கட்சி ஆளும் மாநிலங்கள் கூட தங்கள் மாநிலங்களுக்கான வளர்ச்சி திட்டங்கள் என்கிற பொழுது, அரசியல் கருத்து வேறுபாடுகளை மறந்து வளர்ச்சிக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்து மத்திய அரசுக்கு முழுமையான ஒத்துழைப்பு கொடுக்கிறது.

ஆனால் தமிழகத்தில் மட்டும் தான் எதற்குமே ஒத்துழைப்பு கிடையாது. இந்த கேடுகெட்ட அரசியலால் தமிழகத்துக்குத்தான் இழப்பு.

2019-ல் 8 வழிச்சாலை அமைக்க 10000 கோடி ஒதுக்கப்பட்டது. இன்று அதே சாலைக்கு 30000 கோடி ஆகும். விமான நிலையத்திற்கு கூடுதல் செலவாகும். எல்லாம் மக்களின் வரிப்பணம் தான்.

இனிமேல் வேறொரு இடத்தை தேர்வு செய்தாலும் அந்த பகுதி மக்கள் போராடுவார்கள். அதற்கு எதிர்க்கட்சிகள் ஆதரவு கொடுக்கும்.
