@crystalski rightly being singled out for criticism over their treatment of customers during widely reported poor conditions in @BorovetsResort and Bansko:

Thanks @Telegraph and @matildahead_

@DanUkfirm@crystalski Particularly with the promises made at https://t.co/rnj0IJYKZi and https://t.co/InWzMi0kV2 pages. They are sending us knowing that <5% of the advertised skiing is available to us, and that their 'snow promise' will be impossible to implement.
@DanUkfirm@crystalski Will do Daniel.
For info I have just got off the phone with citizen’s advice and they are of the opinion that this could constitute a ‘significant alteration of an essential term’ under the package travel regs 2018,
@crystalski Thank you Hayley, please do. I am still holding out some hope that @crystalski will do the right thing for their customers AND for their own business, but unfortunately nothing I’ve seen so far supports that hope and time is running out.
There is still time to minimise the damage! PLEASE do what you should have done days ago @crystalski and allow people to amend their bookings. We’re not asking to cancel, just to be able to actually ski on our skiing holiday!
Even if you don’t care about your customers @crystalski, when you’re making the national press, quite possibly @BBCWatchdog etc, even from a purely selfish business view this is a terrible decision where ALL involved suffer!
@crystalski@Fourcrower@heatheralm0nd@mckearney_david@emblain83@bansko Come on @crystalski, we're pushing from narrow interpretation into just making things up now.
Borovets own website publishes actual temperature data - not forecasts, and the last 28 days looks like this:
So on what basis are they 'confident that temps are dropping'??
@crystalski@Fourcrower@heatheralm0nd@mckearney_david@emblain83@bansko If that is the case, then perhaps a better question is 'what is it that you are seeing in these forecasts that we're clearly missing, which makes you think this is going to result in a skiable resort any time soon'?
Insurance will only pay out if the entire resort is closed, and @BorovetsResort are keeping 3 short drag lifts and training runs (<2km out of advertised 58km of skiing!) open for kids lessons etc and this is apparently enough for @crystalski to claim the resort is 'open'. 3/3
@Fourcrower@crystalski@heatheralm0nd@mckearney_david@emblain83@bansko@crystalski can you provide the improved weather forecasts you keep telling everyone about? Perhaps we would all feel better about not being allowed changes! snow-forecast says rain and light snow half way through our week, and temps are not low enough for cannons.
@crystalski@crystalski have taken a decision to stiff customers KNOWING that these resorts are not currently skiable. There is still time to do right, reading FB and Twitter today it is clear that if not this will be remembered by many.
@crystalski Called a few days ago to discuss our coming ‘skiing’ holiday to Borovets and were told to wait for updates when we would be offered alternatives. Today you have revised this to be 100% loss of costs on any change. Awful.
