Our new paper 'Presaccadic attention depends on eye movement direction and is related to V1 cortical magnification' is now available in Journal of Neuroscience, from @NinaHanning, myself, and @carrasco_lab https://t.co/VrIEA82z08
After seven (7!) years of work with >20 researchers at 10 different institutions, we are super excited to release NextBrain, a next-gen probabilistic atlas of the human brain with 333 regions:

Preprint, data, code, videos, and much more in this 🧵(1/5)
Excited to share our new work spearheaded by @insekim with @eline_kupers & @garilerma in which we developed a new empirical & computational framework for estimating spatiotemporal receptive fields in units of milliseconds and degrees with fMRI

Hi MR gurus.
We want high-res fMRI at approx 1 mm isotropic at 3T, with TR < 2 sec. No need whole-brain coverage. Which sequence would you recommend: 2D-SMS-EPI or 3D-EPI? I've seen abstracts and papers at 7T, but not at 3T @layerfMRI@Kamil_Toronto @HighOnField @garilerma
Population receptive field models have been successful in predicting fMRI responses in either spatial or temporal domains, but now there is also a spatiotemporal pRF model! Excited to share @insekim latest work, together with @garilerma and @kalatwt!
Excited to share our new preprint led by @insekim with @eline_kupers@garilerma; this is a major breakthrough using fMRI to estimate spatiotemporal receptive fields in visual degrees and milliseconds.
@NandaRibeiro93 @CaballeroGaudes Yes please! :) I will contact you, @david_linhardt is here at @bcbl_ with us for a short stay and will be great to chat with you, see you soon!
Zorionak! 🙌
Our colleagues Mengxing Liu, Garikoitz Lerma-Usabiaga and Pedro Paz-Alonso have published their study “Reproducible protocol to obtain and measure first-order relay human thalamic white-matter tracts” in the specialized journal NeuroImage. Do not miss it:

It's not too late to apply for a postdoc with @BruceFischl an me at @FreeSurferMRI@MGHMartinos@harvardmed to work on this exciting project! https://t.co/9zfPTRPBE9
@eurunuela @_mattboud I use the same workflow, but with Affinity Designer. I create one big A0 with all the svg figures from the same paper, and then "print" them in png, tiff, from there
I'm pleased to share our work newly on NeuroImage, co-authored with Dr. @garilerma , Dr. Francisco Clasca and Dr. Kepa Paz-Alonso!
