Regis Maburutse, a Zanu PF primary elections candidate against Barbara Rwodzi in 2023 is being sought by the Sheriff to serve a six-month jail term at Chikurubi Prison for contempt of court. Maburutse was reported for forging his name on a CR14, threatening and grabbing shares from Tony Sarpo of Matabeleland Engineering, a leading Engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing of small-scale mining machines company by dropping President Mnangagwa's name and posing as a member of the Central Intelligence Organisation. He ran the company from 2016 to 2025 and continued to defy a 2023 court order that ruled him out as a shareholder and instructed him to stop interfering with the affairs of the Matabeleland Engineering. Justice Katiyo last Friday upheld an earlier court order for Maburutse to serve a six months jail term but the accused did not attend the court resulting in a warrant of arrest.

Three overzealous men suspected to be members of the CIO attached to Minister of Local Government, Daniel Garwe's office have barred Masvingo Mirror journalists from covering the installation of Silas Chikwanda as the new substantive Chief Chikwanda. They accused the journalists of writing bad stories about the appointment including that the the process is in breach of the law. The operatives are taking the law into their hands as they have no powers to remove journalists accredited by the Zimbabwe Media Commission from a public event. The journalists have also been ordered to leave the venue. The only registered media organisation covering the event is ZBC and the rest are fly by night reporters who hang around Zanu PF ministers. There is a heavy presence of riot Police in anticipation of demonstrations from the Chikwanda family which is protesting the appointment of Silas. The new chief Chikwanda is a CIO operative.

The claim that ED succeeded in what Mugabe failed is a lie from the pit of hell. Let's take, for instance, infrastructure. Mugabe built the National Sports Stadium, Reserve Bank building, New government building, Karigamombe, Causeway etc. He built universities in 9 provinces, starting with Nust in Bulawayo. Let's talk of roads. The Mutare-Harare-Bulawayo-Plumtree road, in its current state, was built under Mugabe. The Masvingo-Beitbridge Road, which ED is RESURFACING, was initially done by Mugabe. The Chivhu-Chiredzi highway was done by Mugabe between 1987-1989. Then the millionaires you are talking about, the thieves looting Zimbabwe now, can't be compared to real businesspeople who came up during Mugabe time, the likes of Shingai Mutasa, Strive Masiiwa, Nigel Chanakira and others. Crediting ED for creating "millionaires", zvigananda, is an insult to our national psyche, a glorification of thievery which can only come from someone of the same ilk. Yes, there are projects that have been undertaken during ED's time, but if you look closely, these are projects that were brokered by Mugabe before the coup. The new parliament and the airport are good examples. What ED has done is turning such projects into looting schemes by overpricing the projects through proxy contractors who bring suitcases of money, everyday, to his private office in Borrowdale.
So please, don't tell us that ED achieved, where Mugabe failed. Mugabe built clinics all over the country, ED, through his wife, has made sure there are no painkillers in those clinics and even major referral hospitals, so give us a break, ED is a thief, the worst thing that has happened to Zimbabwe since colonialism.

Ndirangu, the colonial collaborator man who shot and arrested Dedan Kimathi a Kenyan freedom fighter. He died in 1986.

Ndirangu was rewarded with $30 by the colonial govt. He shot Dedan Kimathi in the leg, got him captured, was rewarded with $30 by the colonialist and he bought a bus in cash.

Bus was nicknamed "Muthimo wa Kimathi" was boycotted, he gave up and took the bus home which continued to attract attention.

He died a rejected man.
The earth reclaimed the bus.
His family is ashamed of his name, none of them use his name.

Russia 🇷🇺: A captured young Ivorian who had been fighting for Kyiv reportedly told Russian media that economic hardship drove him to sign a contract with Ukrainian forces.
