PS @JKorir_K together with Water Secretary @EngSaoalima joined the Chairperson and CEOs @WaterNwwda and @tanawwda, alongside the @CG_Marsabit represented by CECM Hon. Grace Galmo @gbhalakhe for an extensive tour of key water and sanitation projects in Marsabit County.
The Principal Secretary for Water and Sanitation, Mr. Julius Korir, today visited Marsabit County where, accompanied by the CEC for Water Services, Hon. Grace Galmo, he toured the long-stalled Badasa Dam site. Construction began over a decade ago but has remained incomplete for twelve years, denying thousands of residents in Marsabit Town and its environs the reliable water supply it was intended to provide. He also inspected the Bakuli Dam works and assessed progress on the Marsabit Sewerage Project.

In his homily for the Easter Vigil read by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re presiding on his behalf, Pope Francis explains how this celebration "reminds us that the light of the Resurrection illumines our path" and our hearts. The Pope made a brief visit to St. Peter's Basilica a couple hours before the celebration for prayer and to greet the faithful gathering. https://t.co/0lOcibxCmY
