Hey @BizNasty2point0 , this is our new sales guy from Newfie in the salmon suit, he’s a goalie (shocker), this is how he showed up to the holiday party last night, he’s a beauty but I need you to give him a one line roast of this fit…then he owes me a beer!
@RearAdBsBlog you remember this guy ?
@HCareAdvisorGuy Silver lining: if the deal is good enough and you’re willing to wait (presumably a shorter timeline now at least), offering to sit when you don’t HAVE to could be a deal maker or could even create a premium in a new market no?
@irentdumpsters Leave it, but write a reasonable and objective response that fits the scenario and it will look great. Everyone knows these reviews can be a bit much but a solid response helps validate you, your business and your brand. I think we all know no company is perfect.
@HCareAdvisorGuy There are more layers to this from Providers to Nurses to the front desk - all with different TA and retention needs/wants. Once pay is off the board (competitive or the best) you’d be surprised how easy it is to attract and (most importantly) keep, talent.
@HCareAdvisorGuy I’m here for it. These posts are very valuable regardless of industry. A lot of folks think you just sell a company for (insert headline multiple) and get rich. You’ve been a great follow for true M&A nuggets.
@GenxBonVivant@sweatystartup A lot more to consider here than just hiring low wage support offshore. Love the premise but make sure you iron out all employment law and other arrangements.
@HCareAdvisorGuy Where have you seen value in NOT having a FULL executive team or long term solutions, especially when selling to a strategic buyer? Sometimes these people and solutions are duplicative and get stripped out post transaction anyways so I’m curious about your point of view there.
@SMB_Attorney My daughter has a rare disorder causing major seizures and cognitive deficits. Although very difficult, even when we all don’t have our health, you still learn to get through anything, also. Maintain perspective, respect life’s timeline, make the best of the cards you’re dealt.
@coryDwake Good post - easy to fall in love with general macro perspectives but the reasons you fell out of love with it are legit. Market will probably be swallowed up by large brands (amazon, Walmart, CVS) and health systems who can afford to operate on the margins.
@SMB_Attorney Funny timing on your recent thread - I got paired up tonight for a twilight 9 with a commercial RE investor who now invests in small and trade businesses.
Golf club networking is some of the best there is.
@deenashakir@guyfriedman@Lux_Capital@steadymd Curious what the panel determined were the best ways innovation can fix the staffing crisis? I assume through telehealth for reach and proper caseload/acuity allocation, but what else came up?
