Thank you to this kind woman from the village in Jieyang.
She made a special trip to the place where Wang Wang’s tragedy took place. Inside the cave where Wang Wang had hidden before she was set on fire, she left some offerings and a bouquet of lisianthus flowers.
I couldn’t hold back my tears when I saw the photos.
This was the last place Wang Wang stayed, and the last place where she sought shelter before she was set on fire.
She never had the chance to return to safety.
But at least, in the place where she spent her final moments, someone remembered her and left a flower for her.
Thank you for doing this for Wang Wang.
I believe she would have felt this kindness.
We will never forget her.
Justice has not yet been served. We will never give up.

WHAT SHOULD YOU WRITE?
Please don’t just copy and paste the same message. Personalize it. Explain briefly why animal protection matters to you and respectfully suggest measures such as:
• Clear legal definitions of animal cruelty
• Meaningful penalties for intentional abuse
• Responsibility for the person who actually commits or organizes abuse, not only an animal’s owner
• Better identification/tracing and coordination between relevant authorities
• Stronger enforcement and protections for companion and stray animals
• Where appropriate, directing fines toward animal rescue/welfare
You can choose 2–3 points you care about most. A short, personal and respectful submission is enough.
Don’t speak Chinese? Write it in your own words, then use AI to translate it into Chinese.
Please be constructive and respectful. The goal is to show policymakers that real people, in China and around the world, care deeply about stronger animal protection.
Write → personalize → translate → send → share. 🐾💜

💔🐾 WANGWANG’IN SON ÇAĞRISI: UNUTMA, UNUTTURMA!
Her gün, her gün, her gün dünyaya hatırlatmalıyız.

Dear #WangWang, your story touched hearts all over the world. You taught us the true meaning of maternal love and resilience. We will make sure your legacy is one of love, protection, and unity. Fly high with your babies. 🌸 Sweet angels! 🐾 #StopAnimalCruelty#JusticeForWangWang
Following Wang Wang’s incident, more and more extreme animal-cruelty cases in China are being exposed online. A dog butcher in China brutally slaughters dogs in front of their companions, and then films them crying / shaking in fear. This German Shepard is filmed crying after seeing what happened to his friends, and knowing that he’s next. I cut out the end part of this video, because the butcher went on to show the dog cooked. He apparently finds this very amusing.
And the most vile part of all - a lot of these dogs are retired search & rescue dogs. Dogs that have spent their entire lives saving human beings. How fucking sick is this?!
Search & rescue dogs saved 70% of the survivors buried in rubble during the 2008 Wenchaun earthquake in China. Yet, they’re often sold and eaten after they retire.
A country that eats dogs has NO RIGHT to use any service dogs.
These pictures are heartbreaking to look at, especially after seeing the video of what those kids did to poor #WangWang. It’s impossible not to feel the pain and sadness behind what happened.
That’s why we continue to show up and do our part to support this movement. #WangWang has become a symbol of hope a reminder that one day things can change.
We will keep fighting in her name until there is not only #JusticeForWangWang, but justice for every animal that has suffered before and every animal that may suffer in the future.
