@SteveMBowling@GenePark It’s because of used games. And Sony doesn’t sell physical games but they sell digital games and they don’t allow third party stores to sell keys. So they are not going to allow the old 70/30 split at retail for digital keys. a money grabbing scheme given their dominance
@rkylesmith@EsotericCD The book was insufferable. Clunky writing, with an interesting plot overwhelmed by paeans about science that felt like being clubbed on the head repeatedly for not realizing how awesome science is
@sama@sama I hope the gift includes the web ui not bogging down and crashing when a conversation is long, especially with the use of code interpreter. It is making ChatGPT unusable for any long running analysis with multiple iterations.
@GenePark@NfinityBL A lot of community plugins have somewhat filled the gap but Valve has absolutely walked back their promise for better support for other stores in SteamOS. It is pretty much a Steam only console unless you are willing to do tinkering in desktop Linux
@DennyBurk Paraphrasing another saying, if you didn’t like the dispensational American evangelical movement, wait till you meet the post-dispensational evangelicals.
@NoTechBen They should just get rid of replay. Baseball and soccer VAR are the worst. What is the point of replays if they are held to some impossible standard to overrule wrong on field decisions?
@AJWTheology I was reading today about Barth’s disillusion with liberal theology in the wake of World War 1 and how that led to his Romans commentary. Seems similar to this - truly nothing new under the sun
@HighyieldHarry I pay for both. Gemini still has a lot of ground to make up purely from a product/QoL perspective but hard to beat 2.5 pro for coding and reasoning. ChatGPT still has the edge if you want to create and reuse workflows, especially with projects etc
