@DrDatta_AIIMS I completely agree. His humiliating tirade against a qualified professional on specious grounds and publicly threatening a doctor in his workplace should count as harassment and abusive language against a health care person. Criminal action can be initiated.

@Sathyantweets This is not new. A theft, murder ot hoax can be done by people of any community. However, it becomes a big issue when the culprit belongs to a minority community. In this instance, the alleged theft itself is fake based on the CCTV. The guy must be arrested.

@tamizhmix @Veera284 You are wrong. The case was quashed due to withholding info. It has been recalled, admitted and is being heard. The next hearing is on 16/06/2023. It is Crl MP no 25207/2022. I am the person who has recalled It. The matter has been communicated also

Sources : MK Stalin and his son Udhayanidhi Stalin decide to reward their personal dentist Dr. SM Balaji with the post of Vice Chancellor of Dr MGR Medical University.

Dr SM Balaji is the personal dentist of Stalin’s family. To reward him, Stalin has decided to make him the VC of medical University. The glitch is, Dr Balaji never had any teaching experience and is not qualified to hold the post. Several qualified academicians are available.

The interview for this post was handled by a Committee comprising former IAS officer VK Subburaj. One of the other member of the Committee is an anesthesiologist. She works in Dr Balaji’s clinic. The interview was held yesterday.

Am interview was held one year ago for VC post and the Committee found Dr Balaji’s qualifications were not up to the mark as he had shown false teaching experience. The selection process was put on hold. The term of then VC was extended while the format was changed this time to accommodate him.

Now, after amending the rules, and making the qualifications to suit Dr. SM Balaji, a fresh selection is being held only with a view to make Dr SM Balaji, the VC.

Further, Dr SM Balaji is an accused in a CCB case, which is pending trial. Balaji has now approached the High Court to quash the same against him. @CMOTamilnadu

@drbrai I too supported NEET. Not anymore. It’s just another ruse to admit substandard students with plenty of money. Percentiles are deceptions. Students who score less than 17% are eligible and get a seat while those with 70% are denied seats due to inability to pay exorbitant fees.

This is not a crisis for the profession. It’s a crisis for the private managements that were granted too many seats and are now desperate to sell them. If the seats are going vacant, it’s because candidates don’t want them. No demand. Reduce the seats. Don’t lower the bar!
