@therationalroot Would be pretty funny if everyone spent weeks calling this support, then dumped the second price got there. I want to see spot buying without a giant leverage bounce doing the work. If that doesn't show up, the line means nothing.
@pete_rizzo_ I'll believe it when the vote is done. Congress has kept Bitcoin companies in limbo while lawyers and regulators collect fees and salaries either way. Now everyone wants applause for maybe finishing the job before vacation!
Exchange goes down, withdrawal stuck, support ticket open. Suddenly the Bitcoin balance on screen isn't very comforting. Self-custody is annoying at first, but for the stack I don't plan to sell, I'd rather keep the keys myself.
@DocumentingBTC Every fork was supposed to dilute Bitcoin holders. What actually happened? It got a different ticker, traded as a separate asset, and not one extra sat showed up on the Bitcoin chain. You copied some code and issued yourself a new coin. Congratulations.
@BigCheds Months of chop, then the first daily upper band break since May. Now watch the same crowd that wanted a breakout call 82k too expensive and wait for 78k. If it gets there, they'll suddenly want 74k. Every single time.
@amonyx How do you praise Bitcoin for breaking from fiat, then want old Twitter and ChatGPT back? X is more open than it was before Musk, and Grok actually gives straight answers instead of another lecture. This list is backwards.
@BrotherMKT If this paid 7.4% to 8.2% every month, you wouldn't need to build a team by recruiting strangers through DMs on X. That's roughly 135% to 157% compounded a year. Come on, people with returns like that aren't hunting for recruits on X.
@Vivek4real_ So Bank of America is comfortable with 4% now. Funny timing. Bitcoin was supposedly too dangerous when clients bought it themselves. Put a bank around the trade, add a fee, and suddenly the adults in the room approve.
@PiNewsMedia Sure, unplug the miners and plug in an AI data center. Never mind that mining can run beside stranded power, move almost anywhere and switch off fast, while AI needs fiber and reliable power. Same electricity, totally the same business.
@Cryptolution Runes flooding OP_RETURN with junk again, and somehow that gets sold as activity. Fees low, blocks full of garbage, and the same people call it innovation until it gets expensive and vanishes overnight.
Fertig. Rest ist Wahlkampfgeschwätz.
@pete_rizzo_ Of course Circle says this law will unlock trillions. They're selling stablecoins. Banks issuing more dollar tokens might be huge for Circle, sure. But how did that turn into the bear market being over for Bitcoin? That's quite a jump.
One person moving is not news. That's why brain drain is so easy to miss from inside Germany.
I only understood it properly after moving to Switzerland in 2025. The move itself filters people. It is expensive, annoying and risky. You need a job that works abroad, some savings and enough nerve to start over. Lots of people who could leave still won't.
So when someone does go, Germany can lose decades of later tax payments and work, not just one name from a population table. If that person fills a hard technical role, the open position may sit there for months. If they were going to build a company, that company may now be registered across the border.
The receiving country gets the easier side of the deal. A working adult arrives after somebody else paid for school and often university. They take a job and start paying in.
Back home, nothing visibly breaks that morning. There is just a vacancy that stays open. Maybe a project gets delayed. You notice this much faster once you live on the side receiving those people.
@amuse So the EU hits American companies with billions in fines, and the answer is to bring that mess home? Platforms will cave long before the bill reaches $7 billion. Posts quietly disappear and politicians never admit they censored anyone.
