Quick update for anyone following along, especially folks working close to infra
The patent has been dispatched by the USPTO and is currently in the window before formal docketing
At a systems level the work is concerned with how spatial state is defined, indexed, and shared. Most existing approaches treat geometry, transforms, and time as adjacent but separate abstractions. This explores a more unified model, where spatial position, volumetric extent, and temporal context are expressed within a single coherent reference structure. The motivation is less about visualization and more about consistency across systems — cases where multiple agents, sensors, simulations, or compute processes need to agree on where something exists and when that state is valid, without relying on ad hoc coordinate translations
Not a product, not an app. Foundational infrastructure work that Solana will enhance
Proud to announce that @Jito is a Founding Partner Sponsor of CastleDAO
Jito builds core infrastructure on @solana, from liquid staking to the block-building systems that keep the network running at full speed.
With @JTX_trade, that execution engine now powers CEX-level UX with self-custodial trading.
We're proud to have them onboard and thankful for their support!
You can love Solana and still be pissed off about parts of it.
In fact, if you really care about something, you should demand better from it, and have the courage to say so.
If you expect a foundation to make your product succeed, you will fail sooner or later.
Speaking from experience. There are already dozens of good trading apps on solana. Expecting the foundation to support mine the most was never realistic.
But the small amount of support we received opened the door for us, and I'll be forever grateful for it.
We turned that momentum into $5M in volume and almost 10k users through our own gtm strategy, our team not giving up, and keeping our users happy.
The foundation opened the door. We had to do the walking.
and honestly, no other foundation out there gives builders even that much.
