Asking before it sends, pays or deletes anything is the right default for an agent that keeps working after you close the app.
Ad accounts need the same thing. Budget edits and new campaigns are exactly the actions a person should see before they go live.
@Robin_ecomm A lot of PMax accounts that "stopped working" turn out to have product titles nobody touched since the store launched.
What do you fix first on a new feed, titles or product types?
@twid Most of the agents rolled out this year got broad API keys so teams could move fast. Going back and scoping all of those is going to eat a lot of that security budget
@aakashgupta@thejamesmcaulay Where did he stop exactly?
Most growth setups I see on here let the agent draft and queue things, and a person still presses go on anything that spends money. That line seems about right for now
Black Friday is five weeks away.
Good time to settle the account structure and write down the daily budget plan, so nobody is improvising bids at 2am on the 27th.
@andrew_jennings which permissions does the system user get on client accounts?
full admin means one bad budget edit from the agent goes live with nobody looking. I'd want new campaigns created paused at least
@sattyyouneed depends what you do all day. for us the useful part is the MCP setup, the same ad data tools plug into Cursor, Claude Code and Codex, so we switch between them without redoing anything
