READ THIS! It’s a story about my brother @pepinosuave and sister-in-law @IngridFournier, two of the greatest public servants I’ve ever known. Burnt out teachers raising an alarm we all must heed. @laurameckler@EricaGreenX@jimdao@gtoppo

Starbucks could give every one of its 383,000 workers a $5,000 bonus & still keep $2.6 billion in profits from last year. Instead they're raising prices while spending $20 billion on stock buybacks & dividends when profits are up 31%. Don't blame inflation. Blame corporate greed.

Had to rush up to the floor to intubate another COVID patient this am. I admitted them yesterday on a nasal cannula. 50s. No underlying conditions. Unvaccinated. The look in their eyes was gut wrenching as we paint them to sleep. It’s gotta get better at some point, right?
