Forcing Google to sell Chrome is just stupid. We already have plenty of alternatives, like Firefox and Chromium. All the value in Chrome is that Google is incentivized to CONTINUE to invest heavily in moving the web forward. It's a classic wealth v riches misunderstanding.

i think i can say for a lot of us Europeans we grew up wanting that bc it’s what we saw on disney and nickelodeon and then we became adults and saw what america is ACTUALLY like and now i thank my life every day that i was born and live here and not in the US
The only way I can recommend someone to enter the open source world is to become confident enough to lose the fear of the language, open a OSS repository and try to understand why you were having trouble.
Open source is made by people like you and me, there is no magic.

Nerd BFCM stats:
Shopify’s egress processed 145 billion requests on Friday. App servers handled peak of ~60 million requests per minute. Increase of 38%. Total GMV was $4.1b, up by 22% from last year.
