In mid-December last year, I saw an opportunity to create a flagship experience for the first Solana gaming console, and that decision led me to this moment!!! I am excited to share that I just submitted Vortiq to the @playsolana Matrix Hackathon.

Vortiq is a Web3 asteroid shooter built on Solana, a fast-paced arcade game where your wallet is your identity, your tokens are your power-ups, and your scores are recorded on-chain.

The Game Destroy incoming asteroids before they destroy you. Waves get faster and bigger the longer you survive. You get 3 lives, real-time scoring, and 4 activatable power-ups mid-game: Shield, Multi-Bullet, Freeze Time, and Full Lives, none of which are free. You buy them in-game with $PLAY(@playsolana native token).

⛓️ The Web3 Stack

- Solana wallet connection via @MagicBlock SDK

- In-game marketplace — purchase power-ups with $PLAY

- Full Jupiter DEX swap embedded directly in the game (swapping as low as 0.003 SOL)

- Global leader board authenticated via Unity Gaming Services, linked to your wallet address

- Built With Unity 6 · Solana Unity SDK · @MagicBlock · @JupiterExchange API · @unity Gaming Services · Android + WebGL

This was one of the most challenging and rewarding builds I've done, integrating real on-chain mechanics, wallet-native transactions, and a DEX swap all inside a live game. Every crash, every bug, every breakthrough was worth it.

Huge respect to @PlaySolana, @0xjay, @vitorhsr99 for creating this opportunity. Can't wait to see what comes next 🙏

We are pleased to announce that we have acquired the Eggy League game.

We appreciate the effort the team has put into developing the Eggy IP in-game. It now officially lives inside the PlaySolana ecosystem, the first sports game on the PSG1, native to the handheld and built for the community we’ve been compounding over the past two years.

This is what vertical integration looks like: hardware, software, and IP all connected to PLAY.

More games coming to our portfolio, more expansion.
