@patriciogv I'd see if there are any public baths ("sento") left in Tokyo. Used to love them when I lived out there many years ago. Social places. Very, very hot water though!
@adambsilver Also to be strictly complete and in case anyone from SIGCHI is listening: these principles only apply to "sufficiently complex" situations. If you turn on your kitchen tap and chocolate comes out, habituation will not prevent you noticing that :-)
@adambsilver Not in this case, sorry wasn't clear. I meant as aside that the principle of habituation unites the effect you see in your research with the best practice of undo.
@adambsilver Oh and *also* - we should expect notices to be seen more in user testing than in real life beause participants may (at least be subconsiously) be on the lookout for unexpected things while they know they are being examined. Mitigate by double blind, but even then...
@axs Your app says used to say I have tickets for this evening but now say "no upcoming events" yet shows me a QR code if I hit "refresh". What's going on? I've got a support ticket #6031231 for this.
@NathanFGao Mobile app or the web app that asks you if you want to put the shortcut on the home screen with exactly the same icon as the native app you find later and then get confused later with?
Or no?
