@CarlBovisNature New smaller smaller hoggie has arrived in my garden the last few nights to join the big bruiser. Safe to say they weren’t pleased to see each other - there was a stand off in the first restaurant before bruiser gave way and took himself off to the other one!
These two really didn’t want to share the water 🦔🥊🦔 (don’t worry, there are several other drinking options in the garden for the one who got shoved away)

This polecat first appeared in my garden a year ago but I hadn’t seen it again until last night - he/she is clearly not very happy with being on camera 📸
@HedgehogCabin I already have grass and beds and I love to watch the hoggies snuffling around their favourite plants so I thought why not give them more!
@PTES@hedgehogsociety I never receive these emails even though I’m registered as a hedgehog champion and I have email contact turned on. They’re not going into spam - anything else I can check?
Second hoggie is out of hibernation now (Mrs Prickle has been up for a couple of weeks). Not sure they’re entirely pleased to see each other 😂🦔🦔
@naturespy
Looks like one of my hoggies is up from hibernation (I keep a supply of food and water in the restaurant all year round just in case). @HedgehogCabin - is it OK just to monitor this one for now?
@HedgehogCabin Unfortunately he didn't go right inside so the internal camera didn't trigger. He was around the garden for a couple of hours - this is another clip of him on the grass.
@terrybnd@BvcpInn You need to come out west more often, it’s been a glorious sunny day on the Solway coast, just a tad windy. Took the chance to do some gardening before tomorrow’s storm.
@terrybnd Wasn’t too bad on the Solway coast - some rain but not enough to constitute a storm. Just goes to show Cumbria can have multiple weather systems on the go at once!
