The problem is not that Trump's potential new FBI chief Kash Patel is talking about the need to check US aid to Ukraine. It's normal to audit aid you giving.

The problem is HOW he says it:
1) "We need to check where that money GONE"

That is, the narrative of GONE money is immediately promoted. Despite the fact that most of the aid is NOT MONEY, but old (and often expired) military equipment. And most of the money actually stayed in the US, since it went to purchase military services from AMERICAN equipment and weapons manufacturers.

2) "We sent $100 billion to one country! I don't know how this congress is allowed to get away with that."

The truth is all Congress voting for aid for Ukraine was BIPARTISAN!

3) “We can’t trust a such leader of the country (Ukraine) giving him 100 billions of dollars and let him say ‘ ‘I’m not telling you where the money went’ ”

It’s total lie and manipulation: American representatives know all the use of aid and SYSTEMATICALLY doing AUDIT of it in Ukraine. It’s open information.

So all these talks looks like not a try to find the truth, but another attempt to spread Russian narratives to stop any American help to defend Ukraine.
