HI We believe in Tesla and we want Tesla to succeed in Israel.
I’m a Tesla Model Y RWD owner whose high-voltage battery failed, and unfortunately I’m far from alone.
A significant number of Tesla vehicles in Israel are currently disabled and waiting for high-voltage battery replacement, some of them for long periods of time. Owners are left without their cars, without clear repair timelines, and often without meaningful answers from Tesla Israel.
The mobility solution is also creating a serious financial burden.
There are not enough Tesla replacement vehicles available. Instead, many owners are told to rent a car themselves, pay the full rental cost out of pocket every month, submit the invoice afterward, and then wait for reimbursement.
For many families this is a very expensive arrangement. Some owners are already paying monthly loans or financing on a Tesla they cannot use, while at the same time having to finance the cost of another rental vehicle until reimbursement arrives.
We would expect that when a Tesla is immobilized for an extended period because of a major high-voltage battery failure, Tesla should make every reasonable effort to provide the customer with another Tesla as a replacement vehicle.
Communication has become another major problem. Customers contact Tesla Israel looking for updates and clear answers, but often receive little information about when their car will be repaired, when a battery will arrive, or what exactly is happening with their vehicle.
We also have serious concerns about how some of the affected vehicles are being stored while waiting for battery replacement. Owners have reported seeing vehicles in storage lots with doors or windows left open, exposed to the sun and weather for extended periods. These are customers’ personal vehicles, many of them relatively new and expensive, and they deserve to be treated with care while in Tesla’s possession.
Similar battery-related cases have also been reported in Taiwan, which adds to the concern among Israeli owners that this may be part of a wider issue.
Customers also want reassurance that the replacement batteries are reliable, that they have been properly validated for Israel’s very hot climate, and that the same failure will not simply happen again.
We see Tesla as a premium technology brand and as the company that pioneered the modern electric-vehicle industry. We see you as the person who pushed the entire automotive world forward.
That is exactly why this situation is so disappointing.
We believe the level of service currently being experienced by affected customers in Israel is not a standard you would want associated with Tesla.
This is not an attack on Tesla. Many of us still believe deeply in the company and the product.
We are asking you to help make sure Tesla’s global leadership looks into what is happening in Israel: the battery failures, the long repair times, the lack of replacement vehicles, the financial burden of rental cars, the poor communication, and the way vehicles are being stored while waiting for repair.
Please help Tesla Israel bring the customer experience back to the standard that made us choose Tesla in the first place.
@DonaldTrump
This is what modern antisemitism and intent look like today in Iran — the desire to destroy the State of Israel. Take that into account, dear President!
Three days ago @WHO director, @DrTedros, gave a briefing on hospitals in Gaza.
Not a single condemnation to Hamas, for using hospitals as their headquarters.
Today's evidence showed that weapons and hostages were kept in hospitals.
Shame on you @DrTedros!
Shame on @WHO!
