@gmyws1000 RTC around the world has the same meaning. It is possible archer will try to buy the regulations and get it opened up, but it is more likely they’re going to adopt the same RTC standard as in other countries. It is commonly used to let military warbirds fly in civil airspace.
@gmyws1000 They can be exported but in UAE they cannot be used for commercial purposes. No passengers or cargo are allowed. They could fight fires! Or do airflows!
@TheGoatGains 1) for many situations, all 12 lifting props are necessary for their intended performance as the vehicle is highly optimized because of weight challenges.
2) If one fails in extremely benign conditions with low gross weight, temp and altitude, the aircraft could be stable.
@the_mister_mack I am absolutely sure about that. When you review the claims in their business case and then compare with independent research on battery durability vs cost vs density, they are dead meat. Destined to be the Juicero of 2028. You could sell now or in 12 months… or wait.
@TheGoatGains@rworms2025@DylanisDylan11@thehustlebrosyt I don’t know about that. this looks like selling to fund SpaceX buying… market only flooded the SPAC companies cuz they didn’t like the alternatives. Now they have alternatives and are exiting the stocks that have poor prospects. Professional investors aren’t emotional.
@LouisBourse@TheGoatGains@flyarcher Still the wrong aircraft configuration. It’s a pattern of chronically misleading people. It’s been going on for Years now…. Do they not have the money to update the mockup?
@chabot56 I think they will keep making shirts for a few years. Even after the company collapses you can probably still get shirts on the second hand market
@TheEVTOLFan It’s a smart plan but Kyle needs to do the math. His product is uncompetitive and too expensive for cargo where the market is dominated by very old airplanes like C208 caravans and similar
@TheGoatGains@_patient_man Yes Beta, Joby and Vertical can all CTOL and VTOL… if they have a runway for testing on a flight test day, they are using them quite regularly.
@gregbettinelli Sorry are you trying to make this an LA thing? It’s a California issue and our example is a good example of how things here are vulnerable to fraud.
Nothing in the current system would stop a bad actor from getting this ballot fraudulently signed and submitted.
@gregbettinelli Hard to send a photo without giving away our address of course. We were told by the election office to recycle the ones for people who don’t live here but one is still here for the son of a former resident. This is a photo of that one.
@gregbettinelli We received 5 ballots for 2 voting eligible residents. 1 was for a person who has never lived here due to a screwup with the change of address process by the post office. It changed the address of the next tenant of our last house as our new house. Crazy!
@TheEVTOLFan It is not an open window. It’s a vent because the aircraft has no air conditioner. It’s typical of small airplanes and big stupid electric ones that cost too much but get lots of hype due to rampant stupidity in the investor community.
It’s typical in those kinds of aircraft.
