Supabase is hiring a Flutter developer 💙
Supabase has a Flutter developer role for the first time, along with other client libraries such as Kotlin, Go, and C#!
Apply from the Supabase careers page if you are interested!
@alexhooketh@kiwicopple Hey Alex, postgrest-js wasn't deprecated in favor of supabase-js, it was only moved to the monorepo for easier maintainability. They are still separate packages, just grouped together now.
Supabase Auth now supports linking identity natively!
This allows developers to link multiple auth identities, such as Google login or Apple login, to an existing auth account!
Fully supported on all of our mobile SDKs, including React Native, Flutter, Swift, and Kotlin!
supabase-js is now a monorepo containing all the sub-libraries!
This allows contributors to easily test a new feature of the sub-libraries locally, as well as write test cases to check functionality across libraries!
It's a great time to start contributing!
We bring three observability updates to our platform!
- Product Reports
- Unified Logs
- AI Assistant Integration with Logs and Data
Check out how they can help your app's success:
Introducing JWT Signing keys to securely and scalably handle JWT verifications on your app!
We are also replacing the anon and service role keys with publishable and secret keys, enabling developers to easily rotate keys and making the keys themselves shorter.
@boxy37@pointfreeco If you're interested I have a POC for Sharing + Supabase at https://t.co/XqanDzv9Mk
FYI: I maintain the official Supabase Swift library
We're hiring!

@supabase now supports declarative schemas!
You can now declare and manage:
- table definitions
- RLS policies
- functions
- views
All in the same file!
It's everything you loved about your schema.rb file back in 2013.

@pointfreeco I'm working on integrating Sharing + @supabase , still very early stage, but promising.

Also, can't wait for the StructuredQueries library, I think that can unlock new ways of using Supabase with Swift 💚
@ArdaTors@kiwicopple Hi @ArdaTors! Async/Await is the new way to do things in Swift, just like Kotlin Coroutine.
We won’t be adding support for completion blocks, so I suggest you switch to using async/await. It’ll make your code much easier to read and maintain.
@RobbiewOnline@supabase Hey @RobbiewOnline yes we do have for Swift, Kotlin, and C# https://t.co/GNHZFnM6qr, https://t.co/GiIbouuKsc, https://t.co/oLYtsViHc4
We have created a list of Cursor rules you can copy and paste into your codebase!
Each rule comes with a sample description and glob pattern so that your rule is only applied to the appropriate use case.
What other sample rules should we create on top of what we have now?
today @supabase is releasing a Postgres storage system that's ~5.5x faster than the default storage system
the storage system is called @orioledb, the work of Alexander Korotkov and his team. it's not production-ready but available for testing 🧵
signups for @supabase went through the roof last week and we don't really know why 😂
some combo of https://t.co/UeuUTWpfh7 by @stackblitz, the @lovable launch, our joint YC hackathon, and mega launch week hype
