@jandatesla Tesla’s system has a frame rate. Objects in view slow that frame rate has it tracks them. When it can’t track everything at a particular speed, it slows to make the deadlines work. HW3 say this first. Now HW4 is, and HW4.5 is going out the door with 50% more compute.

@SimonSaysKnow @Tesla You need to be in the same vintage car because there are now 4 different versions of “FSD” in HW2.5, HW3, and HW4 and recently HW4.5.

It takes around a 15% excess speed to see how FSD has done a timing based prediction of when to turn the wheel but added speed fails it.

@mikepat711 They really are out of memory and compute resources in HW3 and HW4. HW4.5 is out the door now with 50% more CPU resources at least. HW5 was announced at the cybercab event, to have 5x to 10x the power of HW4. They made HW4 connections incompatible with HW3. Here we are…

@elonmusk Look up examples of voter fraud that have been documented. Very few of those cases would have bed. Solved by a voter having a photo ID. There is systemic problems with people wanting a more simple job or a working piece of equipment. We have RealID now.

@EricLDaugh We already have voter id with the institution of RealID. Voter fraud cases on record are about people who are not the voting individuals. If the fraud already ignores IDs that exist, how would a new ID solve any problems? Who would you trust to get it right?

@MikeEmbrich I’ve drive over 234,000 miles in my Tesla. 75% at $0.13 per kWh, 25% supercharging at $0.34 per kWh. I average 0.285kWh per mile. My electricity cost, less than $14k. Gas cost at $3.50 per gallon? 234000/20*3.5=$40,950. That’s pay back I enjoy!
