@MovellaEnt @Blender So you took away exporting from Mvn to make us have to live stream to Blender to record, to then export. All for 1k more. Thats dumb.
@asuka111@StudioRiff Movella (Xsens maker) raised the price for the Motion Cloud subscription to 500$ per month on April 1st 2024. This is affecting individual artists, small businesses and indie productions. Join the conversation https://t.co/7FQLBEUJYK
@ZappyZappy7 I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy Xsens products. Movella (maker), doubled the price for data processing by 100% overnight, without an announcement. Many customers are now migrating to other solutions and even considering AI driven alternatives.
@robertrioux @VeskoCrossman You could join the conversation and share your own thoughts. Obviously understand your position since you are sponsored by them, but there are other known influencers taking part too. You can see where the bias lays :)
@robertrioux @VeskoCrossman This explains why you seemed so chilled about it. There's an interesting conversation happening on Linkedin. https://t.co/7FQLBEUJYK
@MovellaEnt You increased the price of the motion cloud service overnight to 500$, but you are still advertising it on your website at the old price. How about you get on top of this? Also, good job shutting down @OBSKUROfficial and turning people's investments into paperweights.
@robertrioux @VeskoCrossman Lastly, the fact even one of their most loyal YouTube, who used to be sponsored by them, recently asked publicly if someone could reprocess his data, says a lot (before the price increase), says a lot about their pricing.
@robertrioux @VeskoCrossman In case you didn't know, Movella already pulled a similar one in 2021, when they suddenly capped the amount of data PRO licenses could export from UNLIMITED to 30 SECONDS.
@robertrioux @VeskoCrossman You are not being mean, you are just trying to defend Movella because they sponsor you. Quite childish to be fair, but hey, some like it that way :)
@Hnetu@OBSKUROfficial Considering Movella doesn't allow its Xsens users to export .fbx files unless they pay 500$ dollar per month, chances are these trackers will never track again.
@robromansvoice@OBSKUROfficial People are not ready for it? How about people don't want to spend money on a piece of hardware that only works with proprietary software instead? Just like Xsens? Do you know they doubled the price of tier-0 customers overnight?
@MovellaEnt Care to explain the overnight price surge in the Motion Cloud subscription that came with no notice? You are in breach of your own T&C! 250$ to 500$ to process and export .fbx files? WOW. @JSFILMZ0412@feedingwolves33@hellorokoko@MoveAI_
@robertrioux Movella is in breach of its own agreement and Customer Rights regulations. You can't just increase the price by 100% overnight without notice. The BMW analogy is shortsighted and obnoxious.
@ant0723@elonmusk Stock went down 97% in the last year. 30% daily fluctuations in the last few weeks. Delisting from NASDAQ. Price increased by 100% for online Motion Cloud services. Not looking great.
@theCGchannel @movellainc And now they have increased the price for the Motion Cloud monthly subscription to 500$ per month. Not really empowering or being indie friendly. Just my 2 cents.
