It needs to be said: “Harris would also be black bagging people and selling them to Bukele” is not a serious position and you undermine how liberalism aids fascism when you say stupid shit like that. The serious position is that liberalism will not meaningfully stop the fascist creep from the right, which doesn’t care about winning fair and square or the rule of law. That liberalism failed to stop us getting to this point and cannot credibly fight it. Claiming that they would be doing the exact thing we are seeing right now, however, makes you sound like a lunatic and shows you have zero material analysis. Please be a serious person.

🚨UPDATE: Rümeysa Öztürk has now suffered three separate asthma attacks while in DHS custody.

She has not received her required asthma medications—a violation of her fundamental right to medical care.

This is cruelty, it is neglect, and it is a damning moral and legal failure.

@SenWarren, @SenMarkey, and I demand that DHS immediately provide her access to the care she needs, restore her visa, and release her.

Every minute she remains in custody is another minute her health and rights are at risk.
