⛔️Ethiopia faces multiple active conflicts under Abiy Ahmed, including renewed fighting in Tigray since late September and ongoing violence in Amhara and Oromia. Recent reports confirm over 60 Orthodox Christians killed in Oromia attacks on Oct 20-24, with mass funerals in the video. ‼️
⛔️Accusations of genocide come from some activist groups citing patterns of civilian targeting, though no international court has ruled on it. Multiple sides report atrocities amid the instability.‼️
Day 2184 of the #TigrayGenocide:

The United States has condemned a reported drone strike on a humanitarian convoy carrying lifesaving assistance to internally displaced people (IDPs) in Ethiopia’s Tigray Region, urging authorities to investigate the incident and calling on all parties to resolve political differences through dialogue.
In a statement posted on 22 September, the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of African Affairs said it “condemns the recent drone strike on a Catholic Relief humanitarian assistance convoy in Tigray.” The bureau called for “a full investigation” and for the findings to be made public “to prevent any such incidents occurring again.”

The international community is complicit in another instance of genocide in Tigray by allowing Abiy Ahmed Ali, who faces accusations of genocide, to target civilians and infrastructure in the region. A drone attack conducted by Abiy Ahmed Ali last night resulted in the deaths of three civilians, including a mother and child, in South Eastern Tigray. Local media, administrators, and eyewitnesses confirmed that the strike occurred in a civilian neighborhood, leading to the immediate fatalities of the three family members, while another woman sustained serious injuries. @SenateForeign@SecRubio@SenatorShaheen@SenatorRisch@SenatorCardin@Europarl_EN@EU_Commission@eu_echo
Day 2094 of the #TigrayGenocide:
Over a 1M #Tigrayans remain displaced years after the guns fell silent. As long as families cannot safely return home, peace remains incomplete. Displacement is not a humanitarian footnote, it is a regional security challenge.
#FreeAllTigray
Why does #Ethiopia remain at high risk of genocide?
Over five years after #TigrayGenocide, there has been no accountability for mass atrocities. Independent investigations confirm that Ethiopian and Eritrean forces committed genocide against Tigrayans, yet perpetrators remain unpunished.
Today, #Tigray|ans continue to face discrimination, including arbitrary detention and restrictions on movement, while nearly 800,000 people remain internally displaced, relying on informal support networks amid food shortages, limited medical access, and aid cuts.
At the same time, violence against civilians in regional conflicts in Amhara and Oromia continues. In the absence of accountability, denial and impunity heighten the risk of renewed mass atrocity crimes.
In this context, denial and impunity increase the danger of renewed violence and mass atrocity crimes.

Isolation became a battlefield.

Abiy Ahmed’s so-called election is a race where he runs against himself—no real competition, no real choice. Like a runner sabotaging his opponents, he controls the entire system so he can’t be stopped.
Day 2031 of the #TigrayGenocide:
In #Tigray; millions displaced. Families separated. Entire communities were devastated. Many survivors still wait for truth, accountability, reparations, & the safe return of displaced #Tigrayans.

Day 1953 of the #TigrayGenocide:

Day 1940 of the #TigrayGenocide:

Day 1909 of the #TigrayGenocide:
No child should have to choose between safety and schooling. International law guarantees education even in crises — yet in Western #Tigray, these rights are systematically ignored.
