Advice to Norway and Switzerland:
1) read and respond to the flight of the ball better, defend better.
2) when you’re on a yellow card in a delicately poised World Cup quarter final ,
don’t dive.
@YankeeGunner Kind of simulation?!? Take another look man. It’s blatant, devious cheating designed to get an opponent booked. What if the opponent was on a yellow already? That’s a second yellow and a red card for them. He can have no complaints in reaping what he sowed.
@michaelttfw Fortunately in this instance, the line in the sand has been drawn under an obvious, ridiculous, incontestable piece of simulation fully deserving of punishment
@YankeeGunner Hard disagree. Blatant and terrible dive trying to gain an advantage get an opponent carded. The fair outcome is to get carded yourself. A classic reap what you sow if ever there was one
@JacobsBen After decades of watching blatant simulation be rewarded in this sport, it’s ‘a dangerous precedent’ when referees finally decide to do something to eradicate it? I don’t understand the objection. What’s the hypothetical scenario where this rule leads to unwanted VAR overreach?
Half of twitter crowning France champions because they roasted a really poor Sweden team who can’t defend, string three passes together or build an attack.
Let’s talk after they play Morocco
@TheBorisBecker Asks the guy who cheated on his wife by knocking-up a woman in a restaurant linen closet, denied the child was his and then got sent to prison for tax evasion and bankruptcy fraud
Insufferable piece of Arteta bashing shit Piers Morgan OUT, New York mayor Zohran Mamdani IN. These are the credentials that should get you access to the club. Get him to Budapest. Get him to the parade
